MIA ELEZOVIC Born in Croatia, Mia Elezovic graduated from the Music Academy Zagreb, going on to study in Vienna, Austria at the Hochschule fur Musik in Wien, and later studying in Frankfurt, Germany, receiving her MA degree in 2001in Zagreb. Ms. Elezovic has performed in international orchestras and solo concerts, including Germany, Spain, Japan, Austria, and the United States.
Various awards include First Prize in Moncalieri, Italy 1991; Third Prize at the International Piano Competition, Rome 1992; Finalist in International Piano Kobe, Japan 1996; Rector Prize at University of Zagreb 1995; Da-Ponte Foundation Award, Germany 2001; Scholarships from the Rom-Foundation, Soros Foundation, and Ministry of Culture in Croatia 2002-2003.
Since April 2005 she has been a faculty member at Kyoto University for Music and Art as well as the British School in Tokyo. In 2005 Ms. Elezovic became a faculty member at Terra Magica Music Festival in Croatia, and in 2006 was the piano-soloist in the Spanish National Ensemble for Contemporary Music in Madrid.
TEREZIJA CUKROV Born in Croatia, Terezija Cukrov attended Zagreb University for piano, as well as the Accademia di Alto Perfezionamento in Venice, Italy. Completed studies also include the Mannes College of Music, NY and DMA in piano performance at Rutgers University.
Master classes and noted performances: International Keyboard Institute and Festival 1999-2000; Estate Musicale di Chioggia, Italy 2002; various solo and chamber performances in Italy, France, Germany, Serbia, Canada, Mexico and USA.
Various awards include Recognition at International Competition Rome, Italy 1997; Solo Recital Lisinki Hall Croatia, 2000; Ibla Gran Prize, Italy 2000; Artist International Special Presentation Award, NY 2007; Solo Recital Carnegie Hall, NY 2008. Ms. Cukrov has held teaching positions at Z. Balokovic Music School, Croatia 2000-2002; Monmouth Conservatory of Music, NJ 2003 – present; Rutgers University, MGSA Piano 2006-2008; Brunswick Music Academy, 2007 – present; and Faculty of the Summer Music Academy at the Terra Magica Music Festival.
RODRIGO BONELLI Rodrigo Bonelli started studying piano and music theory in his early teens. This led him to Uni-Rio (University of Rio de Janeiro) where he studied Piano, Harmony and Counterpoint, during this time he also performed with several groups invidious prestigious venues in Rio.
Rodrigo moved to Boston Massachusetts in 2001 after receiving a scholarship to Berklee College of Music in 1999. At Berklee he continued his studies with Jazz Piano professor Suzanne Sifter and classical harmony with Vuk Kulenovic.
He also studied Jazz Composition and arranging with Ted Pease and Scott Free (Vice Chair Composition department). He has taught private piano at Stoughton Music Center and Solomon Schechter in Massachusetts, as well as Andante Music in New York.
YVONNE WANG Yvonne Wang studied violin and piano at the Royal Academy of Music and graduated from New York University with an Honors degree in Music.
She has performed in music festivals worldwide, including the Cheltenham, Bath, and Aldeburgh festivals, and in venues such as St-Martin-in-the-Fields, Wigmore Hall (London), Duke’s Hall, and the David Josefowitz Recital Hall at the Royal Academy of Music.
HUMBERTO OLIVIERI Humberto Olivieri recently earned a BFA in Jazz Performance at the City College of New York.
Originally from Venezuela he also has an undergraduate degree in Social Communications, and has taught music for the Miami Youth Symphony as well as written and orchestrated original music for independent films. Humberto has also been a freelance music teacher since 2004, and resides in New York City.
